The System
The Point System is designed to acknowledge the members who have been most active in the supporting our Club. The point system is rather simple, rewarding those who show the most Club enthusiasm and those who are involved in making the Club a success. The Club year runs from November 1st to October 31st and the Board of Directors assigns point values for various levels of participation in the club during that period. The members who have earned the most points are honored at the annual Christmas Party. The point values are as follows:

There are two other awards presented each year. The Don Yenko Performance Award and the Best of Shows Award
The Yenko Performance trophy piggy-backs with the Steel Cities Region SCCA autocrosses held at BeaveRun each year. The highest finishing club member (driving a Corvette) at the Steel Cities events becomes the top driver for the year. 2008 will mark the 5th season for this award since its inception in 2003. Glass mugs are also given to the highest Steel Town finishers in his/her respective class.
The Best of Shows competition earn points for participating and/or placing 1st, 2nd or 3rd in pre-determined regional Car Shows and points are awarded as follows:

It is important that you sign in at meetings and events so that the points
are logged by the Points & Trophies Chairman. Any member wishing to
view their points may do so at any club or board meeting. If you are a
Chairperson of any event, major or minor, please contact the Points &
Trophies Chairman for the form to use when logging the appropriate
information. If using trophies to award for an event, at least three weeks
notice is needed so that the supplier has time to prepare them.
